Fowlpox virus co-expressing HIV-1CN gp120 and IL-2 has been characterized

Scientists characterize recombinant fowlpox virus co-expressing HIV-1CN gp120 and IL-2 in a recent issue of the Journal of Virological Methods.

According to a study from China, "The acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) has now become one of the most serious infectious disease in the world, and safe and effective AIDS vaccines would be the best tools to control the disease. Fowlpox virus has been studied recently as a potential vector for the delivery of heterologous vaccine antigen.
