Cancer treatment research advances have been reported from Finland, the United States and Germany. Study 1: Scientists investigate baculovirus entry into human hepatoma cells in a recent issue of the Journal of Virology. According to their report from Finland, "Autographa californica multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV), a prototype member of the Baculoviridae family, has gained increasing interest as a potential vector candidate for mammalian gene delivery applications.
