New findings from Japan, India and Sweden describe advances in HIV/AIDS. Study 1: Scientists have developed an intranasal AIDS vaccine using inactivated HIV-1-capturing core-corona type polymeric nanospheres. According to researchers publishing in the Journal of Controlled Release, "Polymeric nanospheres have been widely used in biomedical applications, such as drug, gene, and vaccine delivery systems.
