Research from the United States and People's Republic of China add new data to tuberculosis body of knowledge

Study 1: A researcher examines safety issues regarding new vaccines for tuberculosis, with an emphasis on post-exposure vaccination, in a recent issue of the journal Tuberculosis.
According to his article, "There are several new types of vaccines that have become potential candidates for the prevention of tuberculosis. While these have been tested in the conventional animal models, less emphasis has been placed as yet on the development of safety testing procedures."
