Refractory solid tumors did not respond to Anvirzel administered at phase I dosage level

Patients with refractory solid tumors did not respond to Anvirzel administered at the phase I dose level; a recommended phase II dose level is suggested.

According to a study from the United States, "Anvirzel is an aqueous extract of the plant Nerium oleander which has been utilized to treat patients with advanced malignancies. The current study reports a phase I trial to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and safety of Anvirzel in patients with advanced, refractory solid tumors."
