Data from University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cancer Institute advance knowledge in cancer vaccines

Investigators publish new data in the report "Cancer chemoprevention and cancer preventive vaccines--a call to action: leaders of diverse stakeholder groups present strategies for overcoming multiple barriers to meet an urgent need. The emerging field of cancer prevention through chemoprevention agents and cancer vaccines offers significant promise for reducing suffering and death from cancer. However, that promise may not be kept unless major barriers to progress are lowered or eliminated," researchers in the United States report.
