Progress in cervical cancer prevention seen but shortfalls remain, new report finds

A new report shows that states are making significant progress in the fight against cervical cancer but still face dramatic racial disparities in cervical cancer incidence, mortality and screening rates, and a lack of access to care for low-income women.

These shortfalls point to healthcare gaps that may prevent all women from benefiting from breakthrough new screening and prevention technologies.
