New investigation results, 'Mechanisms involved in radiation enhancement of intratumoral dendritic cell therapy,' are detailed in a study published in Journal of Immunotherapy. According to a study from the United States, "We have previously reported that local tumor irradiation, without inducing cell death, can augment the therapeutic efficacy of intratumoral (IT) dendritic cell (DC) vaccination.
