Fresh data on vaccines are presented in the report 'Intranasal delivery of DNA encoding antigens of Mycobacterium tuberculosis by non-pathogenic invasive Escherichia coli.' According to recent research from Padua, Italy, "Naturally invasive bacteria have been successfully used for mucosal delivery of DNA vaccines against bacterial, viral and tumor antigens.
