Study data from University of Pennsylvania provide new insights into immunization

"We assessed the impact of free on-site influenza vaccination on childcare staff vaccination prevalence using 2 before-and-after studies," scientists writing in the journal Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology report. "Vaccination was offered during the 2003-2004 and 2006-2007 influenza seasons. Staff vaccination prevalence was higher in each intervention season compared to the prior, nonintervention season," wrote I. Lee and colleagues, University of Pennsylvania.
