A new study, 'Macrophagic myofasciitis in children is a localized reaction to vaccination,' is now available. "Macrophagic myofasciitis is a novel, 'inflammatory myopathy' described after a variety of vaccinations, almost exclusively in adults. We examined the relevance of histological findings of this myopathy to the clinical presentation in pediatric patients," scientists writing in the Journal of Child Neurology report.
