Researchers from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Research Center describe findings in gene therapy

Current study results from the report, 'A study on anti-tumor immunity induced by gene-modified melanoma B16 cells,' have been published. "T cell-mediated cell immunity is the main anti-tumor immunity in which the effector T cells need specific antigen and costimulatory signals. One of the vaccines applied in tumor immunotherapy is the gene-modified tumor cell vaccine," scientists writing in the journal Oncology Reports report.
