Study findings from Chinese PLA General Hospital broaden understanding of DNA vaccines

Current study results from the report, 'The treatment of mice infected with multi-drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis using DNA vaccines or in combination with rifampin,' have been published. "The problems of tuberculosis (TB) and its drug resistance are very severe in China. New therapeutic agents or regimens to treat multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) are urgently needed," scientists in Beijing, People's Republic of China report.
