Myeloma Immunotherapy



Research conducted at Harvard University has provided new information about myeloma immunotherapy

Data detailed in 'Cellular immunotherapy for multiple myeloma' have been presented. According to recent research published in the journal Bailliere's Best Practice and Research In Clinical Haematology, "Multiple myeloma is a life-threatening haematological malignancy for which standard therapy is inadequate. Autologous stem cell transplantation results in effective cytoreduction, but patients subsequently relapse from sites of chemotherapy-resistant disease."
