Current study results from the report, 'Reduced serologic response to avian influenza vaccine in specific-pathogen-free chicks inoculated with Cryptosporidium baileyi,' have been published. "Immunosuppression in chickens as a consequence of Cryptosporidium baileyi infection may compromise the effectiveness of vaccination for control of avian influenza (AI) H5N1.
