New investigation results, 'Caseinolytic protease: a protein vaccine which could elicit serotype-independent protection against invasive pneumococcal infection,' are detailed in a study published in Clinical & Experimental Immunology. "Invasive pneumococcal diseases incur significant mortality, morbidity and economic costs.
