New immunization data have been reported by researchers at University of Rochester

"Streptococcus pneumoniae is a major bacterial respiratory pathogen. Current licensed pneumococcal polysaccharide and polysaccharide-protein conjugate vaccines are administered by an intramuscular injection," scientists in the United States report.
