Advaxis Applies for $2.0 Million U.S. Bio-Defense Grant

Advaxis, Inc. (OTCBB: ADXS) has applied for a $2 million biodefense grant, in collaboration with a healthcare company (Collaborator), to develop an oral formulation of its live Listeria technology for the prevention of influenza. This research proposes to use Advaxis' proprietary bioengineered Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) carrier system with a Collaborator's proprietary influenza multi-antigen technology to generate a broad-spectrum oral vaccine against influenza.
