New research, 'Field assessment of an H5N1 inactivated vaccine in chickens and ducks in Lao PDR,' is the subject of a report. "Despite the extensive use of poultry vaccines to control the spread of H5N1 influenza in poultry, H5N1 outbreaks continue to occur in domestic birds.
