UNICEF Chooses American Humane Association for Project

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has chosen the American Humane Association's Child Protection Research Center and its partner, Chapin Hall, an independent policy research center at the University of Chicago, to work on its cross-national household surveys. UNICEF has awarded more than $45,000 to the American Humane and Chapin Hall team to analyze levels of violent discipline in 33 countries, and provide recommendations on improving the measurement of child discipline in future international UNICEF surveys.
