Current study results from the report, 'CTL responses to Leishmania mexicana gp63-cDNA vaccine in a murine model,' have been published. According to a study from Clifton, the United Kingdom, "Immunity to Leishmania is believed to be strongly dependent upon the activation of Th1 immune responses, although the exact role of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) has not yet been determined.
