Study data from P. Kvistborg and colleagues update understanding of cancer vaccines

New research, 'Comparison of monocyte-derived dendritic cells from colorectal cancer patients, non-small-cell-lung-cancer patients and healthy donors,' is the subject of a report. "Dendritic cells (DCs) are bone marrow-derived professional antigen presenting cells. Due to their role as potent inducers of immune responses, these cells are widely used as adjuvant in experimental clinical settings for cancer immune therapy," investigators in Copenhagen, Denmark report.
