Studies from Imperial College London yield new information about tuberculosis prognosis

A new study, 'A 100 year update on diagnosis of tuberculosis infection,' is now available. According to recent research from London, the United Kingdom, "Diagnosis and treatment of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is a cornerstone of tuberculosis (TB) control in the developed world. In the last century, the tuberculin skin test (TST) was the only means of diagnosing LTBI."
