New vaccines study findings have been published by scientists at University of the Witwatersrand

2010 DEC 15 -- Data detailed in 'Cofactors that may influence vaccine responses' have been presented. According to recent research from South Africa, "This review summarizes recent developments related to cofactors that may influence response to vaccination. The unexpected increased HIV acquisition among vaccinees in the Step trial with prior exposure to adenovirus type 5 (Ad5) led to several studies trying to understand whether an underlying biological risk factor may have been responsible for this observation."
