Researchers at Children's Hospital Have Published New Data on Vaccines

2011 MAR 16 -- New investigation results, 'Review of meningococcal group B vaccines,' are detailed in a study published in Clinical Infectious Diseases. "No broadly effective vaccines are available for prevention of group B meningococcal disease, which accounts for >50% of all cases. The group B capsule is an autoantigen and is not a suitable vaccine target," scientists in the United States report.
