Scientists at Maastricht University Release New Data on Alzheimer Vaccines

2011 MAR 16 -- A new study, 'In vivo electroporation of the central nervous system: a non-viral approach for targeted gene delivery,' is now available. According to a study from Maastricht, Netherlands, "Electroporation is a widely used technique for enhancing the efficiency of DNA delivery into cells. Application of electric pulses after local injection of DNA temporarily opens cell membranes and facilitates DNA uptake."
