2011 MAR 23 -- New investigation results, 'Identification of immunodominant antigens of Chlamydia trachomatis using proteome microarrays,' are detailed in a study published in Vaccine. According to recent research from the United States, "Chlamydia trachomatis is the most common bacterial sexually transmitted pathogen in the world. In order to control this infection there is an urgent need to formulate a vaccine."
