"A Long-Term Study of Lamivudine Treatment for Chronic Hepatitis Type B."

According to an abstract submitted by the author to the 19th US-Japan Hepatitis Joint Panel Meeting, held January 27-29, 1998, at the Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, California, "Our previous study has indicated that 100 mg is the optimal daily dose of lamivudine for chronic hepatitis type B without serious adverse events and thus, three consecutive studies have been carried out. 1) A placebo-controlled phase III study (106 cases).
