Investigators publish new data in the report "Efficacy of serum procalcitonin in evaluating severity of community-acquired pneumonia in childhood." According to recent research from Udine, Italy, "Microbe-specific diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in childhood is difficult in clinical practice.
