Researchers from Peking University discuss findings in hepatitis B virus histology

Investigators publish new data in the report "Relationship between hepatitis B virus DNA levels and liver histology in patients with chronic hepatitis B." In this recent study, researchers in Beijing, People's Republic of China conducted a study "To study the relationship between hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA levels and liver histology in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and to determine the prevalence and characteristics of hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) negative patients. A total of 213 patients with CHB were studied, and serum HBV DNA levels were measured by the COBAS Amplicor HBV Monitor test."
