Reports advance knowledge in osteoporosis research

Reports from Turkey, the United States and the People's Republic of China highlight recent research on osteoporosis. Study 1: The development of osteoporosis in women with chronic liver disease may result from increased bone resorption. According to a study from Turkey, "Patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) have an increased prevalence of osteoporosis.
