Expression of FoxP3 is linked to poor prognosis in ovarian cancer

The expression of the regulatory T cell-specific forkhead box transcription factor FoxP3 is associated with poor prognosis in ovarian cancer. "The forkhead box transcription factor Fox P3 is specifically expressed in T cells with regulatory properties (Treg). Recently, high numbers of Treg were described to be associated with poor survival in different malignancies.
