New data illuminates research in breast cancer

Data on breast cancer are outlined in reports from Japan, Australia and the United States. Study 1: The Nottingham Prognostic Index (NPI) could be used to predict accurately the prognosis of breast cancer. According to a study from Japan, "The NPI is used to predict survival in patients with breast cancer. This index is based on tumor size, lymph node stage, and histological grade and allows the stratification of patients into three different prognostic groups."
