Public Affairs Veteran Named Chief Executive Officer of WomenHeart

WomenHeart: the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease announced the appointment of Lisa M. Tate as the organization's new CEO. Tate brings more than two decades of experience in health advocacy, including 14 years as Vice President, Public Affairs for the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI), a Washington-based association focused on children's health care. WomenHeart is the only national patient advocacy organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life and health care for the eight million women living with heart disease.
