Research results from University of California, Department of Psychiatry update knowledge of women's health

A report, "Ethnic differences in adrenocorticotropic hormone, cortisol and corticotropin-releasing hormone during pregnancy," is newly published data in Peptides. According to recent research from the United States, "Significant ethnic disparities exist in reproductive outcomes. A potential contributing factor may be the functioning of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and placenta during pregnancy."
