FEW Releases 2008 Employment Statistics with Interactive Map

Sue Webster, National President of Federally Employed Women (FEW), announced the release of the organization's compilation of the 2008 federal employment statistics by state and congressional district. "These statistics are very important to legislators and their staffs on Capitol Hill so that they will know how many federal workers live and are employed in their state and district," Webster stated. "In addition, for the first time ever, we have been able to obtain from the federal government totals of federal retirees and postal workers living in each county.
