According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Seventh Annual Conference of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care, held November 10-12, 1994, in Nashville, Tennessee, "Reaching and engaging women within the community who are actively using drugs and potentially at high risk or are infected with HIV is a challenge that health care workers, especially nurses, must address.
