Fish Oils Show Promise for Rheumatoid Arthritis

The oils found in salmon, sardines and other fatty fish, called omega-3 fatty acids, may someday be used to help alleviate the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, according to the Arthritis Foundation.

An article in Arthritis Today, the foundation's national consumer magazine, says a series of studies are revealing promising short- and long-term benefits of fish oils for arthritis symptoms.
