Women in Science and Engineering To Be Honored

Published in Women's Health Weekly, March 27th, 1995

Mildred S. Dresselhaus, professor of electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and member of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering, will speak about "buckyballs", the new molecule, Buckminsterfullerene, at an event honoring women's contributions to science and engineering.

The program takes place Tuesday, April 4, 1995, in the auditorium of the National Academy of Sciences building, Washington, D.C.

In addition to the lecture, the Academy will recognize promising young female science students from the metropolitan Washington area, who will participate in a panel discussion with Dresselhaus...
