Technique May Improve Life for Patients

The new technique has been used on ten patients. There's no guarantee a better chance for survival but it can significantly improve a patient's quality of life, the doctors say.
Drs. Joel Childers and Earl Surwit are giving women chemotherapy to shrink their tumors before surgery, then are using a laparoscope to remove as much tumor as possible with minimal cutting.
