Acquisition of a New Natural Bioadhesive Technology Announced

Columbia Laboratories, Inc., Miami, Florida, announced it has acquired worldwide rights to a newly developed, protein based, bioadhesive technology for all applications in women's health care.

The inventor, Professor Jean-Marc Alche of th Faculte de Pharmacie, at the University of Clermont-Ferrand, France, an authority on bioadhesive delivery systems, has applied this new technology to buccal (cheek), vaginal, nasal and rectally delivered products.
