Penetration of AM-1155 into Female Genital Tissues

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 19th International Congress of Chemotherapy, held July 16-21, 1995, in Montreal, Ontario, Canada, "The penetrations of AM-1155, a new fluoroquinolone, into female genital tissues were investigated. Five patients with benign gynecologic tumor underwent hysterectomy received a single 100 mg (3 cases) or 150 mg (2 cases) of AM-1155, and serum from cubital vein and tissue samples were obtained in the surgery. Serum samples were obtained when uterine arteries were ligated. Concentrations of AM-1155 in samples were assayed by HPLC.
