Bacteriological Epidemiology and Treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 19th International Congress of Chemotherapy, held July 16-21, 1995, in Montreal, Ontario, Canada, "One hundred symptomatic women with clinical bacterial vaginosis (BV) were enrolled in this study. Bacteriological epidemiology of BV and efficacy of oral or vaginal administration of antimicrobial agents for treatment of BV were investigated. Epidemiology of BV was investigated in one hundred symptomatic women before antimicrobial therapy.
