AMA Reports on 'Silent Violent Epidemic' of Sexual Assault

With over 700,000 women sexually assaulted each year in the United States, the American Medical Association (AMA) has released new statistics and facts concerning sexual violence against women. The AMA also released guidelines to help healthcare professionals identify and treat victims of sexual assault and urged patients to seek help from their doctors.
