Some Silicone Implants More Likely To Rupture Than Others

A recent study shows that silicone gel on the surface of a breast implant points to implant rupture - and some implants coated with polyurethane are more likely to rupture than similar, uncoated implants.

The results of the study was presented during the 81st Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), November 27, 1995.
