According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 48th Annual Meeting of the Gerontological Society of America, held November 15-19, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, "The purpose of this study was to explore the mechanisms of therapeutic change in behavioral training and drug therapy for urge incontinence in community-dwelling older women. Subjects were 197 ambulatory women (age 55 years or over) with persistent urge incontinence.
