The Prognostic Value of Nuclear Morphometry in Breast Carcinoma

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 49th Cancer Symposium of the Society of Surgical Oncology, held March 21-24, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia, "A retrospective study of 97 cases of invasive breast carcinoma was performed to determine the prognostic value of nuclear morphometry (NM) using digital image analysis. Patients were treated by mastectomy or excision and axillary dissection with or without adjuvant therapy. Follow up was for a minimum of 5 years or until death.
