District Judge Denise Page Hood declined July 30, 1996, to combine the cases, a decision which eventually could leave them to be tried individually in courts across the country.
The decision leaves intact Judge Hood's ruling of last September 1995, in which she denied a motion to have all cases combined with those already in her court filed against Dow Corning Corp. The companies said they would appeal.
