Several, e.g. HER-2/neu, and the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), have been implicated in the pathogenesis and progression of human breast cancer. We propose to identify novel protein kinases from human breast carcinomas, and to study, in the clinical setting, those likely to be directly involved in the growth and proliferation of breast cancer cells....
