The Women's Intervention Nutrition Study (WINS) is funded by the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) and administered by the American Health Foundation.
Researchers plan to enroll about 2,500 women between age 48 and 78 who have been treated surgically for early-stage breast cancer within the past year. Women eligible for the study must have been treated with chemotherapy or Tamoxifen (Nolvadex), or a combination of both following surgery.
